Neil and Clare Edwards’ Music Wedding Video – “I Just Can’t Get Enough”

Neil and Clare Edwards were married at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa on 1st June 2012.

We had an awesome time filming this – as did Neil, Clare and all of the guests.

Alien and Predator, it was all a facade

Alien lvs Predator

Alien and Predator recently realised that all the fighting and battling was merely a facade for their built up sexual tension, and they tied the knot this week on a secret planet.

It all started after Darth Vader played Cupid and sent them on a blind date. They met again, realised their fate and were married within months.

Jamie Lee Curtis is said to be ‘chuffed for them both’.

Facebook status:Married

Its been quite a week for Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Not only did he see his company valued at $106bn floating on the stock market, but he wed his long term girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, 27.

Mark and Priscilla had fun poking each other last night

The social media guru had his location services turned firmly off as the couple kept it very secretive, with only 100 guests attending.

Guests were also under the impression that they were attending Chan’s graduation – until they logged in to the venue.

The wedding ring was a ‘simple ruby’.

Flash Mob Wedding Dance

This couple got everyone involved in their special day, similar to what we do here at Music Wedding Videos.

Would you think of getting all of your guests involved in your first dance?

Surprise!We’re getting married today!

This guy is an absolute legend (and could also possibly work as a CIA spy).

If romanticism could be epitomised, I think this guy would be up there.

He methodically (over a year) fished for details about what his fiancé’s perfect wedding would be and put it all together without her realising.

She genuinely had no idea what was going on. I’ll shut up and let you watch it.  Get the tissues ready 🙂

What are your thoughts? Would you enjoy that or would you like to be in full control?

The Price of love for Leandro

The Price of love for Leandro

Jordan aka Katie Price takes full opportunity to show off her new engagement ring whilst on holiday with new hubby to be, Leandro Penna.

Never one to be a shrinking Violet, Katie’s holiday snaps were ‘leaked’ to the National Press this week showing the happy couple smiling and posing in front of the camera. Her gaudy bright-red ring is showing in every single shot.

Has the 'unlucky in love' model finally found love?

Katie and Leandro met at Elton Johns Oscar bash last season and have become inseparable albeit the age gap and Leandro’s lack of english.

In April, she took to Twitter declaring ‘I am in love with Leandro’.

Is it going to be third time lucky after her previous two divorces from Peter Andre and Alex Reid?

If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it

Let us know your thoughts?

The Greatest Wedding Moments in Film

The Greatest Wedding Moments in Film

Hi Folks,

Todays blog was very enjoyable as we looooove films (fact) here at MWV HQ.

We are predominantly film makers and we try to portray a certain cinematic quality to all of our videos, concentrating on the cinematography and mise en scene.

Our ideas and inspirations have been inspired by hours and hours of watching films.

This week I decided to let you in to my top ten ‘best wedding moments’ in film.

You may or may not agree with me on the list and I would love you to comment on the bottom with your thoughts.

No.10 The Graduate (1967)

This is a wonderful wedding scene with a great twist as Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft run away in to the sunset. I think a lot of grooms have a worrying thought about something like this happening during the pregnant pause after the priest has said: ‘If anyone knows of any reason…’

9. Waynes World 2 (1993)

How many of you were thinking of this scene when watching the scene above? A great spoof – a real ‘laugh out loud’ wedding moment.

8. My Best Friends Wedding (1997)

I must admit to being a lousy romantic, but this final scene in My Best Friend’s wedding makes me wish I was a better one. George (Rupert Everett) is waxing lyrical on the phone to Julianne (Julia Roberts) and his banter is gentle, warm and witty. I don’t know how long it’d be before I cracked to make a joke about the size of the mobiles…

7. Beetlejuice (1988)

This is one of the most eye-catching and creative wedding scenes of modern times. Stars like Michael KeatonWinona RyderAlec Baldwin and Geena Davis all in one scene together creates wonderful, surreal feel. And how brides would love to be able to get in to their wedding dress as easy as that,  eh?! “Daylight come and me wanna go home!”

6. Love Actually (2003)

Even being an unromantic male (see above) I love the idea of this wedding day surprise. Fantastic tune and great singing (although I would have preferred the garage classic Forgive Me by Lynden David Hall).

5. The Freaks (1932)

Although this film is not seen as particularly PC these days, I just wanna say one thing: How great would it be to film this wedding as a Music Wedding Video? What a fantastic, fun yet uneasy scene to watch. A great mix between the mad and the brilliant!

4. Four Weddings and a Funeral

Priests, oh crazy priests! It’s soooooo uncool to get your partner’s name wrong at the altar, yet it’s sooooo funny if the priest does it. Probably the funniest British wedding scene in history, brilliantly played by Rowan Atkinson and obviously starring Hugh errrrrrr Grant.

3. Father of The Bride (1991)

Brilliant monologue played out by the brilliant Steve Martin. After having a baby girl recently, this resonates deeper with me now than before. I can imagine it also does with a huge number of fathers out there on their daughter’s big day (no matter how tough they are!).

2. Bridesmaids (2011)

A contemporary comedy wedding film that I found funny in parts. I quite like this scene because it shows that it is not just the lads that can make complete fools of themselves at weddings. Woohoo!

1. Wedding Crashers (2005)

Excellent montage scene capturing the fun, frolics and feeling of numerous weddings. I could have easily picked out a number of scenes but was struggling to keep it clean with potty mouthed Vince Vaughn andOwen Wilson involved. If you haven’t watched the movie, it’s a must see and my favourite wedding film.

I hope you have enjoyed my list and I look forward to hearing your favourites.
