We were honoured to be invited to film Leanne and Ross’ big day and turn it in to a special Music Wedding Video. With the beautiful venue; Parklands Quendon Hall as the backdrop, and all of the amazing people there, we knew it was going to be one to remember.
I must also mention all of the people that made this such a wonderful day.
Obviously Leanne and Ross were delightful, it’s sometimes difficult to see the bigger picture when we are filming, but they bared with us and I hope they love the finished product as much as we do 🙂
Beautiful Order’s of service set the tone of the day, created by the talented Emma from A Bespoke Design who also organised the table plan with the lovely wedding favours by Love Cupcake
Make up by Katy and Jo from Love hair helped Leanne create her perfect relaxed wedding day look, and did a fabulous job in making Leanne feel every bit special.
The bridesmaids looked amazing in their twobirds dresses, and the Saffron Walden Registrar service did a fabulous job of making the service special to Leanne and Ross.
Magnificent wedding rings from Michael Frank, gorgeous!
Claire from The Sweet Shop really got into the theme of Leanne and Ross’s vision including having some bespoke chocolate bar wrappers made to go with Leanne’s shoes, how cute!
Guests also left their mark on the finger print guest book from Faithful Designs a beautiful reminder and keepsake
And not forgetting the beautiful images from the day by HayleyRuth photography, who was an absolute pleasure to work alongside.
So without further ado, here is the video you have been waiting for.
‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ by Leanne, Ross and their fun loving family and friends.
This is a great music video and a great testimony to Megan. What a great way to keep her chin up and thumb her nose in the face of adversity. This is especially resonant as a close friend recently had miracle surgery in Germany and has successfully had his cancer removed. Big love Dave Smith! Please share the love and best wishes Megan!
With nearly two years under our belt in one of the best industries on the planet, it got me thinking about all of the awesome services and people that we have worked with on all of our fabulous weddings.
This industry is so different to other industries that I have had the (mis)fortune to work in. From cut throat sales to 24 hour on call recruitment, people trying to undercut with the ruthlessness of Alan Sugar. This one is different, everyone pulls together, everyone is….nice!
I have listed a number of companies that I feel have inspired/helped or just generally been cool along our journey and I hope you have the pleasure of working with them in the future. I have bound to have missed people out so please don’t shout 🙂
We had the pleasure of seeing these guys at the Wedding Ideas Magazine Awards last year and they blew our socks off. I have seen quite a few around who aren’t quite secret and lack in the singing department too. They are that awesome that Caroline and Rakesh have booked us for their glamorous wedding next year!
You may think it is strange that I have added these girls to the list, as they are competitors in our field. The thing is, I don’t care. They are fun, driven and motivated in the industry and their product is a great edge to couples that do not particularly want a videographer involved on the day. If you don’t book us then definitely book them 🙂
I also met Jayne at the Wedding Ideas Magazine Awards last year and lets say, it took her a while to take to me. That said, she eventually came round 🙂 Let’s say, I’m no expert on women’s shoes (in public) but she appears to me, as one of the hardest working people in the industry. We are inspired by her work ethic. Elegant Steps are a shining example of how successful you can be with hard work.
Another typical example of hard work shining through. I’ve only met these guys a couple of times at local shows but they always have some banter and genuinely enjoy what they do. It is easy to lose sight of why you began in the industry and why we do what we do. Keep smiling boys 🙂
Prestige must be one of the busiest photographers in the country and it shows why, through their images and personnel. We have had the pleasure of working with the lads on numerous occasions, and to be honest, it makes our job a hell of a lot easier when working with people we get on with. We have had the odd occasion when the photographer has battled against us instead of with us, but although photo bombing all of his shots is fun, it is better to work in unison for that perfect partnership.
A good friend of mine who is trying to juggle his DJing, a full time job and a young family. Has made the night for many couples around the country as well as some of my private functions. His quality uplighting and bespoke tuneage make any night memorable.
Multi award winning duo Heidi and Steve not only work hard to produce quality products, but are down to earth and a really great laugh. Another shining example of juggling family and work life with a smile. I love how they are so humble with what they have achieved and would always give us advice as and when needed. Ta muchly 🙂
I have mentioned how we have met a number of people through the world famous Wedding Ideas Awards, so it would be a misjustice not to mention Rachel and the herd at Giraffe HQ. Another hard working company that are reaping the rewards of graft and determination. I know they don’t need me to talk them up but we want to say a big thank you for helping us get a foothold in the industry with your continued support. Oh, and by far the best mag in the industry. Standard!
Alison is a good, kind hearted woman with a great soul. Her planning and blogs are second to none and she has helped get out our news constantly when we were getting used to twitter (did you know, she liked a tweet 🙂 Thanks for your support and help over the past couple of years.
‘The Saturdays’ popstar Frankie Sandford recently became engaged to Brighton and Hove footballer Wayne Bridge. Frankie follows in the footsteps of fellow bandmates Una Healey, who married England rugby player Ben Foden in June 2012, and Rochelle Humes, who married a fellow popstar: JLS band member Marvin Humes in July 2012.
Frankie and Wayne Bridge have been together since 2010, although Frankie initially thought she would never get engaged as she was convinced all the media interest in her love life would put her now fiancé off the idea of proposing to her. Fortunately she was proven wrong, and revealed all the details of the proposal to the Capital FM breakfast show.
In what can only be described as a ‘barking mad’ proposal, Frankie’s two dogs, Percy and Pixie, had been dressed up by Wayne Bridge in adorable bridge and groom outfits, with Pixie wearing the ring around a ribbon on her collar. Kudos to Wayne Bridge for a unique proposal! Even if Frankie admitted that she thought others would think it was ‘a bit of a weird proposal.’ Let’s hope it’s not just puppy love for Frankie and her beau.
Frankie even shared her excitement on Twitter and Instagram, posting a picture with her husband to be, showing off her engagement ring with the caption ‘Guess What.’
Now all that’s left is for Frankie to plan her big day! With Una’s big day being held at the luxurious Kilshane House in Ireland (top) and Rochelle’s being held in the historic country house, Blenheim palace, (bottom) she certainly has inspiration and expert advice from her married bandmates.
Frankie’s wedding is surely going to be a beautiful affair, and who knows, maybe the rest of The Saturdays will provide the wedding reception entertainment, and here’s a video of one of their catchy songs, ‘Ego.’
We could certainly think of a few songs by The Saturdays to do a music wedding video to.
Tom from ‘The’ McFly is not everyones cup of tea but it is hard not to rate him in this video in which he puts his heartfelt words in to a song for his speech.
