What’s the difference between a marryoke and a music wedding video? Whereas both are great fun and a refreshing change from decades of boring wedding videos, here at MWV we like to think we have a unique formula.
A Marryoke involves simply filming you and your guests as you mime along to the lyrics of your chosen song, whereas a Music Wedding Video is a little more than that. During a consultation with you a few weeks before the wedding, we put together a rough storyboard for the day which takes into account:
- The song
- The lyrics
- What the song means to you
- Inspiration from that song’s original music video
- The location / wedding venue
- Your personalities
- Your relationship
- Your key guests
- How ‘involved’ you and your guests will want to be on the day
This allows us to ensure we can create something special to fit your particular circumstances. We mix together the key moments from your day – the exchange of rings, 1st dance, 1st kiss etc – with moments of you and your guests singing and dancing to the chosen song – to make your perfect music wedding video.
