Leave a commentWe was invited to film a Music Party video for Sarah, Sian and Clair’s 30th at the Newbold on Avon rugby club in Rugby.
They learnt the song beforehand and we storyboarded the video loosely to look like Robin Thickes original ‘Blurred Lines’ video.
We tried to get everyone present on the video (even the streaker) even taking over the car park for an hour with car headlights blasting to light them up.
Here is how it turned out π

Chelsea and Buzz Seager were married in Colchester on 31st August 2012.
For anyone who hasn’t already seen this amazing video, check it out – it’s not every day a girl gets to have a wedding AND be Jennifer Lopez but Chelsea did it in style. Buzz was looking pretty sharp in his pastel blue suit too!
Leave a commentWe met up with Ricky a couple of months ago as he wanted to do something special for his grooms speech.
After securing a warehouse, his kids and some equipment (albeit like a government secret), we managed to keep the end result from Natalie (bride) until the big day.
This is Ricky’s rendition of Michael Buble’s Everything. Enjoy!
Leave a commentAt Music Wedding Videos, we are always looking for fun and quirky ways of filming weddings and proposals.
We are bespoke and would love to push the boundaries with what we can achieve. It seems that people in the USA are streets ahead of us with their innovative ways.
Here is another top example of a wedding proposal.
How romantic. If you would like to do something along these lines or wackier, please get in touch and we WILL make it happen.

This entrance is different, unique and vocally brilliant.
It won’t be everyones cup of tea but we are definitely digging it at MWV HQ.
What are your thoughts?
Cheesy or Charming?
Would you have the guts to do it?
Leave a commentNeil and Clare Edwards were married at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa on 1st June 2012.
We had an awesome time filming this – as did Neil, Clare and all of the guests.

BOOM BOOM BOOM, LET ME HEAR YOU SAY WAYOOOO!
Marvin Humes of 'The JLS' proposed recently, my money is on NDubz classic 'Na Na' for the first dance!
Hi folks,
The Outhere Brothers are probably not going to make the shortlist for your choice of first dance, but could it slot in anywhere else?
This week we wanted to ponder a question that almost all couples have/will ponder during their preparation for their big day, what songs should we have for our wedding?
Wedding songs are hugely important to your day and set the tone and atmosphere of the event. They need to reflect your feelings for one another, appeal to your likes and dislikes and, just as importantly, appeal to the audience; both young and old.
At MWV HQ, we had a debate and, with our diverse taste in music, came up with some options to help couples decide on the apt tunes for their day.
There are many times of the day when a song can be appropriate: wedding dinner , ceremony, party songs, father/daughter dance and last dance.
This is without: bouquet throwing songs, garter tossing songs and (I can imagine a bit of Kenny G is high up this list) honeymoon night songs.
We have chosen our top contemporary beats and some traditional ballads for first dances, hopefully these will quench your thirst for musical satisfaction (although it goes without saying Etta James ‘At Last’, standard π
CLASSIC WEDDING SONGS
Lionel Richie Β and Diana Ross – Endless Love
Eric Clapton – Wonderful Tonight
Savage Garden – Truly, Madly Deeply
Richard M S Irwin -Give Me Joy In My Heart
Elvis – Can’t Help Falling In Love
Whitney Houston – I Will Always Love You
ALTERNATIVE WEDDING SONGS
Smashing Pumpkins – Tonight Tonight
Foo Fighters – The Best Of You
Joy Division – Love Will Tear Us Apart
Brian McKnight – Love Of My Life
Scatman John – Scatman (just checking you’re still with us, although could be interesting)
A lot of people will be having Bruno Mars ‘Marry You’ and Dixie Cup’s classic ‘Going To The Chapel’ and we don’t blame them, but wouldn’t it make a welcome change to hear the rocking Black Sabbath blasting out ‘Heaven And Hell’ as the bride walks down the aisle?
No?!
What songs were a must-play at your wedding? Were there any tunes that you forbid your DJ from playing?
